The ECU momentarily grounds one side of the injectors to pulse them. The other side should have power whenever the fuel pump does. Depends on harness version though. Some versions power the injectors from the ECU relay. The versions that use the fuel pump relay can confuse you since they won't get power with just key on other than a second or two. All versions rely on the ECU to pulse the ground side. There is a large transistor in the ECU that does this and these burn out or the solder to the power leg of the transistor can melt away. Mark
