One result of my engine (grease) fire was the AFM cover melted down into the wiper box. I replaced it with a salvaged AFM. This unit was missing the plug over the idle air bypass screw. Mr Bentley sez 'factory adjusted-do not touch'.

The engine runs well but the idle feels a bit less even than before. Ken L's O2 gizmo seems to be a bit lazier than with my original AFM but the stock 2.1 still gets ~20 mpg.

I think I found the Samba post Neil refers to but it was loaded with disclaimers. I'd like to replicate the factory procedure.

Is the best way to verify this adjustment to find someone with a NOx sniffer? If so, where do I find the number for NOx at idle?

Thanks once again :-)
