Well I got my kit today, and another round of thanks has to go out to all that recommended it, but also to Mark.

This is amazing. To rip off Zaphod Beeblebrox, it's "amazingly amazing!" It took me maybe 45 minutes to install. After doing it once it would be less than 30.

The instructions were extremely detailed and detailed about all the right things. And as a bonus I now have a piece of coat hanger that will measure 20 1/16 inches while bridging a 1 1/2 inch obstruction.

And a good thing that was, because my roof apparently bows out more than average and my hole would have been incorrectly placed. Thanks to Mark for giving me a simple tool to make sure the original measurement was appropriate.
