Just bought my '85 Westy full camper for $7500. No PO records (sat outside at a shop for 18 months after the PO gave it to the owner in lieu of paying his bill) 139k miles, runs strong, AT, AC, PS. AC not working. Came with a set of Carat wheels with decent used tires too. No rust, and clean, but it had the entire rear quarter panel, hatch, and valance replaced at some point and was resprayed, but amazingly has virtually no dents. It has a lot of deferred maintenance though. I have spent about $2500 in parts for it so far, including new top canvas, complete brake system replacement; fuel lines, gas tank, sender, and reseal kit, new battery, propane regulator, replacement lift bar and gas springs for top, and numerous other camper parts, including GoWesty hookups, Sureflo faucet kit, and some used parts. I hope that's it for now! Oh, and the front table is missing. $140 at GoWesty--maybe later.

Next comes an engine swap for $10k or so.

Adjust your price accordingly. I'd say start at $10,500 if it's a full camper in good condition, and more if it's really pristine. I looked at a couple for $15k, but they were overpriced IMHO. You can always sell it to GoWesty!

Good luck--

Stuart in Seattle
