The plastic gas cans I've seen are made from HDPE. I'm almost certain the hard plastic lines in a Vanagon are Nylon-11 (PA-11, but they might be PA-12), which is commonly used for that purpose. That's what I used when I replaced mine a few years back - 8mm OD, 6mm ID, PA-11, 200 psi working pressure stuff. I've still got some, if anyone is thinking of replacing theirs. |
