Look at what is likely to fail and prepare as best as feasible. Start with maintenance items. Flat tire: is you spare in good shape, hold air pressure, jack is available and tested to work, can you actually remove the spare from the clamshell? How old/original are: alternator? Water pump? Fuel pump? Change the belts and keep the old ones as spares. If your confident in the cap, rotor, plugs, wires; then carry spares of each. If your not confident or they've been in there for several years, change them out and keep the old as spares. Good that you changed the fuel lines, but did you also charge or eliminate that plastic firewall fitting? Do you have the right tools on-hand in case needed? Again, different thread previously covered in the archives, but worth researching. Lastly, consider spare parts, which is a different thread (search the archives), but the bare essentials would be the Bentley, cell phone and AAA membership.
