You didn't say how far your trip is or exactly when its coming, but I probably wouldn't do any preventative maintenance before leaving in your situation.

To put a number on it, let's say... you might want to drive 20% of your road trip distance between the last mechanical work and the trip. Taking a 500 mile trip? Put 100 miles on it before hand. Taking a 3000 mile trip? Put 500 miles on it. Obviously there are limits to this kind of one-size-fits all rule but the basic point is that I want to have waited a long time, relative to the length of the trip.

Of course, if you have some problem or known bad part you are trying to address that is a different situation. But if everything is already working great this is a way to prevent yourself inadvertently causing yourself headaches down the road.
