You don't really eat it Scott you just pretend like the playdough spaghetti,hot dogs,etc..that my kids made. Good things is as it dries up it also shrinks into crumbly little bits. It's labeled as nontoxic though the kids never ate it the dogs did. As it works it's way through a dogs digestive system it didn't loose it's bright colors..nuff said!
