Ok, so we are supposed to spray a flammable liquid or a flammable gas into the engine compartment to check for leaks? Isn't there a bit of risk in this? I suppose if there is a leak, since this material is being sucked into the air train, it alters how the engine runs, maybe like it is running rich momentarily. But is there a fire risk involved? Sorry to appear so dense, but I have always thought that one wants to keep flammable materials away from the engine compartment, hence all the precautions about fuel leaks. mcneely
