Subject:      slight hesitation but doesn't happen on consistant basis

90 Carat 2.1.  As you may have read i am a few weeks away from first road
trip and just over the past two days my wife has noticed a slight
hesitation when she tries to acelerate.  It doesn't seem to coincide with
engine being cold and it does not hesitate every time.  I tried and it only
did it to me once.  You press on the gas and it acts lke it is going to die
and then, boom, back to life like nothing is wrong.  Not sure what to
try???  Fuel filter, capacitor on the AFM, fuel pressure regulator....Help
