We are visiting family in Seattle area and our 1985 camper van had a major engine problem last night and we had to be towed to my daughters on Whidbey Island. We know the water pump needs to be replaced and there may be other damage as the engine froze up. My husband works on our van and knows about it but we do not have any contact info for someone in this area that can help us repair it.

Do you have any names of repair shops that work on older VW vans and have or can get the parts to repair it??

Please get back to me as soon as possible if you can help and if not, could you also please let me know. I will also keep trying but I’m shooting blind trying to find a responsible repair place.

Thank you sooooo much for your help.
