I am not a kid or have a large stereo. I also don' get why people are so hard on these kids. They are doing the same thing we did as kids only on a modern level. I have a $200+ battery because it gives me the amp hours I need to run the modifications I have done to my Westy. I like being able to not worry about plugging in for a couple days or worry about getting ice. We need a freezer for medical reasons and the Dometic wasn't capable of it. The reason people have poor luck with AGM batteries is they are not giving them the proper charge. They require specific. charge profiles and higher voltage than a lead-acid battery needs. It does cost more than just putting in a maintenance free battery but if done properly will be a long lasting reliable system. Plus my new Diehard P2 which is made by Odessey has a 3 year replacement and 100 month prorated warranty. Is it for everyone? No,but for some of us yes.

He said just to kids with big sound systems in their cars who mainly want to show the battery by leaving their cars parked with the hood open when around other kids. Shouldn't do that in some parts of town, I'd say.
