I just got a valve out of an '82 in the boneyard.  Cost $5.  It's grommet
had turned to goo, but I’m sure the new ones are better. I have the one's
from Van Café, it's not worth messing around.  But I will tell you this, if
your grommet is still nice and hard and tight, don't try to replace it.  You
will break it trying to get it out!

I'm looking at Dorman products (Some Dorman products sold as "HELP") and see
various PCV grommets that might work:

Measuring a spare expansion tank and new rollover valve, I see:

15/16"  tank ID, 7/16" valve OD. I don't know how thick the OEM grommet is
though.

Since a PCV grommet is likely rated for oil, would it be ok for use with
fuel or fuel vapours?
