Major points on that one ! that's not what I had in mind, but I'll give it a strong number two for sure.

although ....perhaps you don't mean 'Champion' coupe. The October 2004 issue of Car and Driver Magazine has the article '100 Coolest Cars."

for # 52 ( # 1 is the top coolest car ) they list the 1953 Studebaker Starliner.

from the article "Many consider Raymond Loewy's '53 Starliner to be the most beautiful American car of all time."

So, very close but not the one I had in mind.

hint - a two seater, and based on a car show concept car. And a coupe. That's too many hints !
