The front is long because it is designed to lay up against the window glass. That means you have to push it up on the dash, behind (or is that in front of?) the steering wheel and the dancing hula girl. Elastic goes across the front, flat portion across each door. Should reach from door post to door post, snapping at each corner pillar and three across the front just above the windshield. > Date: Sun, 8 Jul 2012 12:44:42 -0400 > From: phishman068@GMAIL.COM > Subject: Westy front curtain doesn't fit! > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > I'm installing westy curtains in my gl. I have two complete windshield curtains in good shape and cannot possibly get them to position to where I should put snaps. The front hem appears almost two feet too long. I assume the snaps should be at about the a pillars but this doesn't fit. Am I just crazy? > > -craig |
