Aaron, I put a pair of jumpseats in my van that I installed several years ago. The van is a weekender. I put the mounts on the front seat bases and attached the seat belts to the same place as the front belts. I then bought some large nuts that would not fit the round pegs on the front of the jumpseats. I put the 4 nuts in a vise and drilled out the threads. I then with the carpet pulled back put the seats in with the nuts on the pegs and drove to my local muffler shop. I had the welder there who has dune buggys weld the nuts to the floor. I cam home and put a few squrits of spray paint on the nuts and cut small holes in the carpet and put the carpet back. I now have 2 nice seats that remove with an easy pull of the release for when I want more floor space. When out the holes in the carpet are hardly noticeable, They have been working fine for years and I would recommend this way of mounting to anyone. My dad and sister both have westys and would like one by the slider. Pat in SC near Charlotte NC 86 AW subi 2.5 , |
