Tom, Bev decided she shouldn't drive her van any more - vision problems and
other things that make old age "not for sissies."
She posted this on my facebook wall (Bev, I hope you're be okay with me
passing this on - facebook is pretty public, so I figured you wouldn't mind
this going to vanagon friends too):
Joy, the hardest thing I've ever done was to give up the keys to my bus.
However, I gave it to my brother so it is still "in the family", but bad
eyes, bad health -- well I needed to give it up before I ran into someone.
I'm still hoping to go to a few campouts, hopefully the ReUnion in Sept.
Anyone passing through Portland, please visit Bev and keep her in the
community! She and I will have to form the vanagon alumnae association!
Joy
