All this by next week is a challenge! I'm a 'buy the best tires I can afford' kind of guy but at www.http://roadhaus.com/ besides a shop review there is a section on tires. FWIW people on this list can get very excited about tires...

The fuel lines need to be changed, that was mentioned but it does not hurt to mention it again. FWIW the plastic firewall fitting can be eliminated with the one section of existing line fitting inside the other & routed under the firewall, there is a lot of room.

Power steering has been covered with great advice about the belt. The AC is generally a job in itself, lot's in the archives Sometimes all it needs is more gas. The AC is nice but you can go tripping without it, you can pull that belt too. Alternator? Is there a problem? Is it broken? Belt tight? Connections clean-bright-tight (both ends)? I check ops check an alternator with the multi-meter, I have battery voltage with the engine off and more voltage (around 14v) with the engine running.

The Bentley is where you find it.. You do need one.

Good luck & have fun!
