Just ran into a guy w/ an 85 GL w/ all electric power. Nice install, he says he can go about 50 miles on a charge of the 45 lithium ion batteries he has under the rear seat & 2 built in jump seats($10K for batteries!) He did the install himself-former Porsche mechanic, took out the gas tank, etc. & says power is about the same as a 1.9 gas engine. He uses it to run errands & says charging takes 5-6 hours. Film at 11.

Mr. BZ-replaced a Tiico
