Subject: re-doing unsafe 120 volt wiring, add GFCI?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Okay, getting to the last of the issues, I hope. Of course, the little circuit breaker was broken off, and when I started working on the boxes I bumped the big ground wire (the 6 guage green one that grounds the box to the chassis) and found that the chassis end had rotted away. Not good. You might want to check that on your rig so it doesn't become a 120v "live wire".

So, I'm replacing that wire, but I'm wondering if I should just put in a GFCI outlet on top and feed the others from it.

Anyone done this?

Stuart
