Not "everyone." My experience matches David Beierl's. No all-season tire can compare to a good directional snow tire, but the Hankooks are the best all-season tires I've used in snow or ice. Far superior to Michelin, Bridgestone, etc. This is in central PA, where we have a lot of hills and a fair bit of snow during the winter.
