Proposed experiment to test if the restrictor's purpose is to limit the
speed of response of the PS system:

Two vans, one with an orifice and one without an orifice in the PS high
pressure supply line are parked in neutral with the parking brake engaged
and with the engine idling at 4200 rpm.  The steering wheels are turned
hard-to-left.  The drivers turn the steering wheels as quickly as possible
all the way to hard-to-right and report:
a.  the amount of time to go hard-stop to hard stop (get an assistant to
run the stop watch);
b.  the required number of turns, hard-stop to hard-stop (just for a check);
c.  the "feeling" of the steering wheel during the quick movement from
hard-stop to hard-stop.

Notes:  Ideally:
1.  Both vans will have OEM PS systems, one with the orifice and one with
the orifice removed; or, both vans will have Frank's hoses, one with
orifice, one without.
2.  Drivers will be of equal strength; or better yet, the same person will
conduct the test in both vans to report the difference in "feel" of the
systems.
