Dometic service instructions state that after the fridge has been
removed and put in unusual positions it will begin cooling faster
*the first time* if before replacement it is inverted a few times to
mix up the ingredients* properly.  There's no useful effect from any
long-term inversion, and no effect at all beyond the first time the
cooling cycle starts up.

*Liquid water, water vapor, ammonia gas both free and dissolved in
water and hydrogen gas, all at pressure around 450 psi.  Great
