My van is a magnet for paper wasps. They love to build nests in the following areas: Electric mirror housings, rear engine intake vents, rear window vents, sliding door track cover and rear hatch gap.

I'm not sure about other areas, but ground-dwelling yellow jackets around here are quite aggressive and pack a powerful punch when provoked. I've had to resort to dealing with them by situating the nozzle of my shop vac up to their nest opening, and then letting her rip. It fills up quickly
