Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to say that this mailing list has been great and I have utiliz= ed the knowledge and ideas quite a bit already. My wife and I just purchased our first Westfalia just over 3 weeks ago and a= re totally in love with it already. It is a 1981 air-cooled blue beauty and = I have spent the last 3 weeks getting it better running condition as well as= slowly transforming the interior into something more our taste and definite= ly more modern. I have decided to create a blog to capture the work I have d= one so far and the trips we take.

http://1981vwcamper.blogspot.com/

Please feel free to look up my blog and provide any feedback or ideas any of= you may have. We also live in Portland Oregon currently and would love to k= now if there are any VW camper meets in the area or campgrounds that are pop= ular for our vehicles.

Also, it is my first experience with blogging so please excuse any improper = etiquette

Thanks so much John.
