> what are peoples thoughts on the best deal for poptop replacement? i've checked all the major sites and just curious if people have strong feelings for certain products. You don't way what year van you have and that may make a difference in what kind of feedback you get. I helped a lister put his Bus Depot Grey tent on his van and it turned out spectacular. We took the top off and that made the project very much easier. Cut the old tent at the camper roof-line then just lifted the top off, onto saw horses. He worked on the top tent removal while I did the van top tent removal. Just tucked the new tent into the pop top and bungied it to stay up in there while we put the top back on, then applied the canvas to the roof portion. His tent material is very tight weave and fits very tight and looks fantastic. There is a place/vendor in Canada that makes great tents but I can't find them in my favorites now. Lotsa different materials and colors. bob |
