If you don't like that ETKA kicks back to Europe every time you go back to the model selection screen, this can be changed.

Make sure that ETKA is closed when making these changes.

Assuming that you installed ETKA on the C: drive, open C:\ETKA\PROG\ETKA_VW.INI in Notepad.

Search for the following line:

*CODE* defaultmarkt=RDW

And change RDW to USA, and save the file.

Do the same to C:\ETKA\PROG\ETKA_AU.INI.

Next, edit C:\ETKA\PROG\ETKA_USER_VW.INI and C:\ETKA\PROG\ETKA_USER_AU.INI. Search for the following line: *CODE* markt=RDW

And change RDW to USA.

Now you can start ETKA.

LOCAL MARKET will now be the USA. However, Europe will be listed as OTHER.

It's not all that hard and well worth the effort.

Mike
