Most likely they are 38mm offset and the centers will need to be turned. Also they probably do not have the load capacity for the Vanagon. The tires are also wrong, insufficient load rating.

Hi, Someone graciously offered, a while back, to help in my pursuit of finding new rims.

I can't find that email so I don't remember who it was. I'm looking at the rims below and wondering if anyone can offer some sagely advise on whether or not they will fit.

The general specs seem to match the "ultimate wheel post" on the samba.
