Dennis,

The last few days, my AC fan ran full bore much of the time. I was thinking something was wrong, as I indicated in previous posts. The ambient air temperature was 97-104 over the last few days. Today, the ambient temp was 84, and the fan seemed to cycle on and off at the low speed setting as it should. The AC cooled well. Just a guess, but hopefully the charge that was added was adequate and correct on pressure. It seems to be so. BUT - this ongoing discussion has raised enough issues that I am going to seek a more in-depth knowledge on the subject and since I have three vans with AC that I hope to get to running, I'm going to invest in some service tools as well.

Thanks for all your input.

John
