Stripes were big in the '80s.  Something to break up the large monotone slab sided vehicle, and dealers liked to make their models look unique.  My '85 had two different strips.  When I pulled off the fridge vent there were three 1/2" strips (orange, brown, yellow) under it.  When it was resprayed after an accident the color was changed and a new 1/4" yellow and brown strip was applied.  It also has "Westfalia" in it, but it's not the correct logo.

Post your photos and open the site to the group, and I'll post mine.  Let's revisit the '80s!

P.S.:  The American conversion companies never gave up on stripes, swooshes, and other extreme graphics, much to my dismay.

P.P.S:  The PO of my former '97 EVC never left the 80's.  He couldn't stand the bland "they are ALL white" reality and added a blue stripe with a swoosh on the front.  I removed it the day I bought it.
