Just thought I'd pass on my method.



Carefully use a heat gun to soften the graphic and its adhesive and peel it
off, keeping the heat gun moving.  My trick is to keep my peeling fingers
close to the gun, and when they get too hot it's time to move the gun.



Use 3-M General Purpose Adhesive Remover (available from auto body supply
stores or some FLAPS) to get the inevitable remaining bits of adhesive off.
You will have slightly thicker and shinier paint underneath, so a little
polishing can help minimize this, but if your paint is faded or oxidized,
expect to have the ghost of the graphics until you repaint.   The ghost can
look better than a peeling graphic however!
