Never done it, but it seems like vinyl striping would be the modern way to go. Could go multicolored, easy application, and lots of widths to choose from:

Probably even get letters say "Sport" or "TranSPORTer," to borrow from an earlier thread. Personally, I want to install LEDs on my undercarriage.
