Jarret,

I wired my stereo to the "Key-in" power using these instructions: http://www.vanagonauts.com/index.phtml?catid=222 You've probably read about that as an option, so the power comes on when the key is in, rather than when the ignition is on. Benefit is stereo plays when the ignition is off. Very straight forward wiring, just like the instructions say I tapped into the grey/black wire under the steering column (relay is required!). Only difference is these instructions assume the relay is mounted on the fuse block, I mounted it inside the ashtray hole where all the other wiring was anyway and my fingers spent many hours during this job. :)
