Like Mr. Squirrel, I usually level the beast using those plastic bits from RV stores.  It doesn't take much time.  I used to do it by eye, but have taken to carrying a small level.  Works great, doesn't take much time.  Maybe on a dark night I might not try real hard.  mcneely
