Volks,


It's been a heck of a week.


Friday 7/13 was my 65th birthday.


On the same day we learned I was going to need heart surgery (quadruple
bypass).


Tuesday 7/17 the love of my life, Maggie Dew, & I got Married.


Just a couple of crazy kids in love :)


Today Friday 7/20 at 8am I will have the heart surgery at  Integris Baptist
Hospital in OKC.


The outpouring of Birthday, Surgery and Marriage congrats and well wishes
has been  humbling.


There are no words to express our gratitude and love for each and every one
of you.


It's clear that Friday the 13 was a very lucky day for us. I was a walking
heart attack waiting to happen but we discovered this before any damage was
done to the heart muscle.


I enter the next phase of my life full of optimism, joy and gritty
determination or in the words of two good friends, Bob Stevens & Richard
Jones,  "RAGING AGAINST AGING".


Clawing and scratching each step forward!


The spirits of the universe have truly blessed us with incredible family
and friends.
