There are front radiator hoses that are shaped a differently, for vans that had, or could have had, 205/70 R14 tires. I found this out buying front hoses by the spare tire from Van Cafe. They even only had that version hose I think. At least on one of them, I ended up with a silicone hose with a big curve in it where a larger spare would otherwise interfere. for vans with the smaller OD metal main coolant pipes, they sell an adapter rubber piece. For vans with larger plastic coolant pipes, it's a fitter. ( there's some confusion - I think they have a hose or two identified as 'return' when it's not. I was getting hoses for an 83 westy. Be careful is all. )

Those hoses could help your 195 fit as a spare. Main limitation there is to not have the spare rub on the steering shaft, and your not in any risk of that with a 195 R14.

I bet your whole van feels much better with brand new sneakers ! scott www.turbovans.com
