Westy rear overhead cabinet housing the A/C components? If I recall, there are two long screws that go up through the bottom of that cabinet into brackets, and two that go into brackets from the front. Front ones are likely hidden behind the grey plastic A/C plenum that extends from this cabinet forward to the bunk edge. It's likely that one or more of these four screws is loose. They are flat- or oval-headed Phillips fasteners in conical washers in my van, and one of mine was loose. There may be a couple more at the rear flanking the evaporator grill but I do not remember if this is correct. Stephen --- On Fri, 7/27/12, Steven Johnson <sjohnso2000@GMAIL.COM> wrote:

Hi All, I reposting this request today because I didn't get any response from the original post. I'm sure somebody out there knows how to fix this problem... Hey all, All the talk about the trim strips for the cabinets has got me thinking about how my AC cabinet has been sagging down for quite a while now and that was the real reason the cross trim piece stopped staying in place. Can someone explain the cause of this sagging? I'd like to fix this so I don't wake up with a sudden headache. Thanks for the replies.... Steven 91 Westy |
