Screwdriver across the solenoid ignition wire and starter wire. Always hated doing that, though. I'd first suspect grounds. Not sure how things are wired on your I4, but if I had to start somewhere, I'd polish all the electrical contacts: starter, solenoid, transmission, battery, fusebox grounds.
