Subject: Another Vanagon encounter story

Have been traveling in my Westy since Tuesday morning at 5:00. On Wednesday about 1:30 I had an afternoon meeting set up with someone I had never met nor seen, a very wealthy developer. I was to meet him at a restaurant on Interstate 65. I walked into the restaurant at the appointed time. Neither of us knew what the other looked like. The restaurant was crowded. To find him, I dialed his number. I heard a phone ring and went to a table with a guy who I figured had to be him. He introduced himself and the nest thing out of his mouth was "Did you see that diesel VW camper in the parking lot?"

I said "Yes, I did. I arrived in it."

That VW camper turned over 330000 miles on the odometer on this trip. Home now.

Jim
