Thanks Dennis. That's also what I was curious of. I had the ECU open recently, but don't really know what the various components do. But Googling now......

This Megasquirt ECU image indicates where the FI driver(s) are. They look like FET 's to me.

I imagine the controller on the Vanagon Digifant ECU uses a FET to control FI pulse?

Not that it matters. I doubt my ECU is the issue.
