good goin' ! Glad you prevailed.

I have had diesel vanagon starters rebuild locally by an electrical rebuilder shop. It's very straightforward word for them. Any good electrical rebuilder shop 'should' be able to do a fine job on one.

as I posted recently, I only had to take it back once, last time I had one done. They got it right on their second effort. Works like gangbusters after that.
