Since the 2.1L already breathes "relatively" well, I think it would be neat to set these up on a Vanagon 1.9L or 2.0L AC engine. My buddy had the Dellorto version of these carbs on a built 1776cc in his '70 Sinka--it hauled donkey. We drove it from Oly down to SF fully loaded with two big BMW motorcycles, a complete drum kit, two mountain bikes and a bunch of his personal stuff. We were flying by the truckers up those steep grades in the Siskyous.
