Have you worked on the CV joints lately? Could be loosening bolts. If the CV joints themselves, they usually get noisier when they gete hot, like after a few miles driving. I assume the loud clunks are from road irregularities? Jack it up and spin the wheels by hand to help locate the noise. Karl Wolz
