So I pulled apart my rear wheel bearings on the drivers side and the outer bearing had a lot of play. Didn't see any obvious problems. The spacer has a little discoloration. The spots on the hub where the bearings sit also have a little discoloration/markings. I could send some photos but I'm not sure how that works on the list. The PO replaced the rear bearings not so long ago, they probably shouldn't have worn out so quickly. I'm wondering about other problems to look for while replacing the bearings so I don't have the same problem again. I'm thinking that I'll replace the spacer, any other thoughts on things to look for? Thanks! Orin -- * My Blog <http://orinsalah.blogspot.com/> * My Photos <http://www.flickr.com/photos/orinsalah/> |
