Hector, these are great carbs, but they can be finicky to set up. Is your F.I. giving you problems? I'd be tempted to stay with the F.I. myself. My friend Syd is running a pair of similar Dellorto carbs on his 1800cc Bay Window. You are in a high humidity area, which can be a problem for these carbs because they will ice up on you if the conditions are right (humidity and cooler day). There is no problem starting them in the morning. The usual plan is to pump them twice, then hit the starter. Always worked on mine, which were on a Type 1 2276cc motor, and I live up here in the PNW. Courtney
