Most vintage online VW parts sellers have the same relationship with VW Classic Parts. They travel the USA every year or so visiting parts vendors and expanding their partnership. Been doing that for 3 or 4 years now. VW was a little behind on this part of their business. Perhaps their association with Porsche has shown them what kind of a revenue stream can be expected by selling parts to the "vintage" crowd. Good news is that they are actively researching the best parts to put back into production. Unfortunately, VW farmed out so much of their production, that it has proven nearly impossible to bring certain items back (think instrument cluster circuit foils). Cheers, Jeff
