I had my house system fail last night and I've been trying to think why. I put in a new deep cycle battery just over a month ago. Now there's not enough juice to run the inverter (so 10v or lower) or the stereo or even have good power in the sink pump. There is a small solar panel to help charge, I've been driving lots so it should be doing well from that. But I've had a problem for many months that the fridge fan runs a lot (almost nonstop some days). This is when set on propane. Could that be enough to kill the battery? Thoughts? 82 with a 1.9TD and original fridge. Regards, Peter Kraiker NextChapter.KraikerPhoto.com |
