I suspect that the mileage you are reporting is what is expected. My trip legs are generally 180 to 250 miles, and take around 8-11 gallons per leg if conditions are good. With high winds or very heavy traffic, I might need more like 11-14 gallons. The 11 mpg reported earlier seems quite low. I have a '91 manual camper. I do not use it for local driving, except in preparation for a trip. If that ends up being several runs across OKC, especially in traffic, I might run a half or three-quarters of a tank of gas through, and get only around 14 mpg. On the road, I average around 20 (actually 20.22 on a recent 5k+ mile trip). I would expect lower mileage with an automatic. mcneely
