I put dark limo tint on my van's windshield and it works great. If you must see something up high in front of you, you have to 'change focus' a little, like when driving past a beautiful mountain range....but if you look, you can see perfectly well through the tint, you just have to 'tune in'...and when driving west late or east early, I rarely even have to deploy my sun visor inside. Cooler inside, too. I did it myself, not hard at all using Chain Auto Parts window tint.
