If it was by mistake I guess that would be different, but if I go looking for trouble I will most likely find it. When I was drinking I didn't care if I drank it out of a glass, a frying pan or a shoe. Booze was booze and it got me loaded and the phenomenon of craving kicked in. If I got alcohol into my system by mistake as I said that is one thing. I could probably deal with that. If I purposely ingest it whether it's out of the bottle or in a cake then that is another matter entirely. That's my way of looking at it anyhow."

Precisely. In accord with the Big Book's description of the mental/psychological state of alcoholism, at least to this alcoholic, there doesn't seem to be ANY chance that the thinking state and condition of the alcoholic whom considers consumption of alcohol (whether via glass or frying pan) could possibly be based on sane consideration. Insanity is the basis of thought for active alcoholism, and self justificaiton and rationalizaion is the demonstrated behavior of insanity.

Rationalization is giving a plausible explanation for abnormal behavior; using abnormal behavior is a sign and symptom of insanity.
